-I have been awful about reading my flist/commenting/responding to comments/etc lately. Actually, I've been awful about doing anything that isn't reading really bad HP fanfic. I am trying to snap myself out of it now, so we will see!

-Yesterday, ranger_recaps celebrated our third anniversary! We did this by recapping the first episodes of Kaizouk Sentai Gokaiger (A+++++++) and VR Troopers (FAIL.)

-I am pleased with my remix assignment! I have a general idea of what I will write for it, anyway.

-I have claimed two queer_fest prompts. One about Kim, and one Kelsey/Nancy. There are a bunch of other great prompts, so you should go claim some.

-Speaking of ridiculous things I have signed up for, there is crackship_bb. I am going to write Adam/Scorpina, because I can.

-Speaking of Scorpina, her US actress from the episode where she hits on Adam is going to Morphicon, and I started flailing so hard I actually squeaked and nearly fell off my chair. (That is only a SLIGHT exaggeration.) There are also a bunch of VR Troopers/Beetleborgs guests, and this makes me ridiculously happy.

-Yesterday I spent an hour on the phone with queenitsy and we discussed how things we love include a) boybands and b) space pirates. The AU where a boyband are space pirates already exists, so why is there not yet an AU where the Gokaigers are a band? Marv is clearly the super hot lead singer. Doc is the super flaily drummer, while Gai plays the tambourine. Joe plays lead guitar, Luka is the kickass bass player, and Ahim is on keyboards. I am just saying, someone should really write this. I am not above offering people bribes.

-Tomorrow I go see The Hunger Games with bewize!

I am ridiculously tired. Sadly for me, psyco_chick32 has left which means I took her to the airport at a ridiculously early time this morning. I had this grand plan about going back home and going to bed, and then coming into work at noon. Instead I dropped her off at the airport and went to work.

But seriously, couch con was so much fun. Basically we sat on my couch and watched the Adam/Tanya version of Zeo, all of Time Force (including Reinforcements from the Future), nearly 3/4 of Ninja Storm, and a few random episodes of other seasons. (Always a Chance, some of Jungle Fury, Once a Ranger, part of the Adam/Scorpina episode, etc)

We also plotted a ton of fic. Being us, it was a lot of "which character should Justin hook up with to make Tommy's head explode?" and "So clearly there's a team of Rangers that is responsible for looking out for the newbies and does the introductions and such, how does this work and who should be on it?"

It was just a general good time, and I wish that Couch Con was still going on. Also, I need so much more caffeine.

psyco_chick32 is sitting on my couch for the weekend! We watched the Adam/Tanya version of Zeo, and we are 12 episodes into Time Force. We're taking a brief break to watch the new Samurai episode, and then we are going to break out the rum and vodka! And also more Time Force!

Basically, this is an A+++++++++ weekend so far.

I went home sick on Friday. My boss has been sick since Wednesday, and I caught whatever it is she had. I've done nothing but whine and sit on the couch and play the sims and read and watch Deep Space Nine and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

Five characters who are annoying, but that you love anyway.

1-Quark, Deep Space Nine. I've been marathoning, and Quark is super annoying, but I love him so much. I love all of the Ferengi, actually. I've been going on about how great Nog is on twitter, because Nog is amazing and his character development and friendship with Jake are so great. Really, EVERYONE on this show is great. (I finally got to the part where Worf showed up, and holy crap I ship Dax/Worf so much. And Miles/Bashir and Bashir/Garak and THIS SHOW. Also, The Sisko is the best.)

2-Rygel, Farscape. He is incredibly annoying, but the show wouldn't be the same without him. And he's a lot of fun, and his friendship with the rest of the crew is great.

3-Ikari Gai, Gokaiger. Gai is SUPER ANNOYING for most of the show, but somewhere around episode 31ish, I realized that he just needs SO MANY HUGS and he is adorable and he is great. I love him.

4-Justin Stewart, Power Rangers Turbo. The most inappropriately young friend of all Power Rangers, but he is great. You know that he's got to be totally screwed up by being a Power Rangers at such a young age, and he needs hugs. From Eric.

5-Damian Wayne, DC Comics. Little brat is super annoying, but he should bicker with Stephanie Brown FOREVER.

psyco_chick32 and I are working on a very fun project that is amusing me greatly. And she's coming to stay on my couch in a month!

I have all sorts of feelings about Gokaiger, and I am going to cry when it ends next week. Not that I didn't already cry through 90% of episode 50, because holy crap, this show. All the feelings. (Also, with the announcement that PR will continue to air through 2014, we should be getting a Gokaiger adaptation, unless they're going to do 2 seasons of Goseiger or something. Which I doubt.) Just. So many feelings. And I thought Countdown to Destruction was amazing. This was. Yeah. WOW.

So, Emma Lahana (Kira from Dino Thunder) is going to be a major character in the Big Time Rush movie. Apparently she's going to be playing teen spy Penny Lane. Possibly I am already shipping her with Camille.

How is this an actual thing? It was weird enough when Carlos was hanging out with Samurai cast members, but my brain is a little bit broken from the fandom collision. And now I am plotting more ridiculous crossovers. I should really write something.

Kim and I were talking about how the only way to top this is for either a) an actual crossover episode or b) for Eyeshine to guest on PR. Either way, my brain might explode.

Apparently the PR and Nick thing is going to actually be great. At least in terms of casts knowing each other and doing projects together.

Hi! If you're writing for me, I love you already, and I can't wait to see what you will write!

Since it looks like you probably matched with me on Power Rangers, I will mostly talk about that! But I love everything I requested, and would be SUPER HAPPY with anything. (It just didn't look like anyone offered it on the signup summary - if I am wrong and that is what you matched on, please feel free to bug queenriley who will be glad to talk to you about my other fandoms.)

Anyway. Power Rangers. I love EVERYONE. I think I requested pretty much every season? I love the female rangers, I love the supporting casts, I love the villains. If you want to write me ridiculous things about Scorpina, Divatox, Rita, Astronema and Trakeena taking over the universe? Go for it. If you want to write something about the girls on the cheerleading squad confronting Ashley after they find out she's a Ranger? Do it. If you want to write fic where various pink rangers go shopping? I am all for that.

If you want to write shippy fic, the only major things I don't ship are Tommy/Kim, Tommy/Kat and Ms Fairweather/Joel. I love het and I love femslash (and I also love gen!)

Really, I will be happy with anything, and I can't wait to see what you come up with. Thank you!

Optional Details: I love LITERALLY everything about this fandom. I love angst, fluff, slice of life. For Angela and Ms. Appleby, what is it like living in Angel Grove with the Rangers? Do they know the truth? What do they do with their lives? For Delphine, tell me ANYTHING about her and Aquitian culture and how she likes life on Earth, or on Aquitar, or what she was doing post Z-wave. Aisha is fabulous, and I love how ridiculously bossy she is and how she totally knows what she wants - I tend to assume she eventually became a lawyer or a politician, but anything about her is amazing.
